Movie Review – Cellular

I had a chance to watch Mobile another day and my first thought was that here we go with a different spin-off of Phone Booth, another movie with someone made to keep on the telephone for 90 a while while we innovate in our chair. However, to me, this is a very interesting movie. I am am not really sure what genre to classify this movie because it has all of it. Suspense, drama, activity, comic aid; this movie has everything.

Who has her home broken into and mysteriously taken away to an unknown place by the”bad men” and put in an attic. They smash the phone hanging on the walls and then move to lock Jessica from the loft. Jessica subsequently”drains” the broken phone (remember – she is a science instructor ) and can randomly dial a contact number.
Now enters Ryan, played by Chris Evans, he plays with your average early 20’s dude who’s only mission is to win his ex-girlfriend. Jessica finds a dwell amount and lo and behold, it is Ryan’s cell phone.
Jessica cries out for someone that she doesn’t know in a desperate plea for assistance. Ryan initially has the normal reaction that everyone would have when getting a call like this, but goes beyond the call of duty in a bid to conserve a woman that he doesn’t even know.
I am not going to be the spoiler and this is all I will tell you, but that is a terrific sleeper movie. Is it a little far fetched? Yes, but what exactly. Forget about your problems and sit right down and observe Cellular, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
